Short-form video creation is one of my favorite parts of digital media. I have been filming snippets of the things I love since I was a kid, and the opportunity to do this as a job has been a dream come true. I have a wide range of experience in video creation-from product content to aesthetic lifestyle content, I love it all!
Pilot Pen USA
I have had the pleasure to collaborate with Pilot Pen USA to create video content promoting their products. I create holiday video content combining their pens and my own art style for occasions such as Mother’s Days, Father’s Day, Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day, and even Passover!
Chi Omega
During my time as Chi Omega’s Marketing Director at Union University, video content was a main responsibility of mine. I recapped every event with a video, showcasing the work Chi Omega does, the fun they have, and the heart of its members. Our views and engagement significantly increased as a result of these videos, bringing in hundreds of thousands of new viewers to our small chapter’s socials.
The Found Co
When it comes to my other business, The Found Co, I mainly use video content to highlight new pieces I have curated for my customers. I showcase new vintage finds in ways that are trending on socials, particularly reels, bringing in hundreds of thousands of views to the Instagram account. I have seen a significant customer/sales increase since I have places an emphasis on creating reels.
Hattie’s
When I worked for Hattie’s, a local boutique in Jackson, TN, the desire of my boss was to increase online engagement with trending reels that would appeal to the humor of our customers. I spent a lot of time keeping up with trending sounds and content ideas, compiling a weekly list of video ideas, and shooting them with the employees. This not only majorly boosted engagement within just one month, but also showcased the fun, lighthearted work environment that was already in place. These videos brought Hattie’s millions of views, and many new online customers.
Personal Work
As I mentioned, I have been creating video content since I was a kid, and I have never stopped! I genuinely love making videos of all kinds. I have done wedding content creation, trip and event recaps, and even simple lifestyle videos on my personal Instagram and Tik Tok accounts. The most recent major video success I had personally was video #2 below, one I made when my roommates and I flew to NYC and back in one day. The video reached over 5 million views and received the attention of many brands, Southwest in particular who sent us each gift cards!
Bananagrams
I created these videos for Bananagrams, an anagram game that uses letter tiles! The brand was looking for more candid videos that would promote their game, and it was a great experience in combining product marketing with an aesthetic lifestyle vibe that stood out to viewers as more than just an ad.
Lucky Monday Studio
I also utilize video content to promote my own custom hand-drawn designs, and the sticker machine! The sticker machine made its wedding debut this summer, and the video gained over 100k views, resulting in a mass amount of inquiries. This video taught me how to handle mass inquiries, especially for my own business.
